If you take a tractor onto a public Road do you require number plates and insurance? I assume that some type of third party insurance is required as minimum ? I have land that requires me to travel for a short distance on the road and a chemin. Any advice gratefully received. Smile

When you purchased your tractor(i take it it's second hand) you should also have got its reg no. this is usually displayed at the back only.Yes you need insurance and third party is ok, You also need a whirly light and a 25k sticker at the rear of trailors etc.
