There is a shop near Prayssac, called the British Food shop, they sale curry paste, sauces, chutney, poppadums etc. Worth a visit. Saves spending on postage from the UK.

There's also a deli in the Rue Nationale in Cahors that sells a whole range of 'foreign' foods including curry pastes

We place a quarterly order with British Corner Shop - all the usual stuff: Marmite, Chilli Sauce, Pickles, Pataks Curry Paste, Assam Tea etc.

Postage is £10 for up to 30Kg - worth getting together with a few friends to place a bulk order.

Prices are higher than UK high street but seem reasonable and with a bulk order the postage cost is not really an issue. Takes about a week to arrive and comes very well packaged.

Thought I would just correct a couple of points that Viktor didn't mention in his post with regards to online Food shopping with BCS.

First you can pay in Euros and for a package it's 13.60 euros for a box of about 18/19 kilos not 30 kilos as stated by Viktor. Second the problem for using online is you need to buy in bulk. Ideal if you use a lot of cans of beans etc or have a business ( I use BCS myself but on a wholesale account). Not so good if you just want the odd item then it becomes expensive. Viktor didn't mention that if you pay credit/debit card you are charged and that sweets and sugar based items attract VAT!!

Finally the price you pay online shopping is nothing like your Tesco or Asda price....BCS is a wholesale distributor and many stock items are from end of production runs, Promotions or cancelled orders and have a higher retail price than you would find back in the likes of Morrisons.

One other point Viktor didn't mention BCS and almost all online shopping outlets don't do frozen or chilled!!

Much easier to pop down to your local expat store to buy your goodies than wait a week......Still can't please everyone! Rolling Eyes
