I'm in need of a plumber in the Lot et Garonne area between Agen and Villeneuve.

Can anyone help please - preferably English speaking as I need to explain that my drains are smelling awful - seems to fill the whole house!

Are you sure you need a plumber and not a septic tank that needs emptying?? If you are on mains drainage than it could be a broken/or damaged drain. Another problem can be the lack of an elbow on a sink. If you have a septic tank the chances are that it needs cleaning out....especially if you have a older property. With heavy rain older septic tanks can give off a smell....just a thought! Wink

Hiya Lotman,

I've given this some thought. I've an English speaking plumber coming next week to give me some advice.

I'm in a modern property but the septic tank has never been emptied to my knowledge (nor by the previous occupants). I've had the smell for over a year but I now need a new kitchen and need to start somewhere.

Thanks for your submission.
