Just a quick hello I have been visiting the Lot since 1994 a few times a year. I visit mostly for the caving and cave diving.

http://www.lot46.com Lot cave diving.

the last trip was a few weeks ago

http://a-m-ward.blogspot.com my last visit.

I hope within a few years to make a permanent move, my eldest son is already living in France Amélie near Perpignan.

Welcome! I checked out your blog but I am afraid cave diving would make me a bit claustrophobic! Good for you, though.

It would be great if there were more postings more often on this lovely site!

Not for every one Laughing although great fun and the Lot is one of the best areas to do it.

A site worth going to ,just to see the resurgence (not to dive) is the:

Source de Saint Sauveur

Cales, Lot

IGN 1 : 25000 série bleue 2137 W
X : 539,25 Y : 276,99 Z : 112m

A very nice lake and used as a swimming pool by the local people although only 14C. It is also a very good cave dive.

The track to it is a bit rough from the road (I use my 4X4 to get to it :-)

Andrew.
